Choosing your wedding photography package is a very personal decision. I've put together a few collections that will suit most couples based on my experience. Everything is, of course, customizable for your preferences and budget.

I very strongly believe that having some sort of physical print (whether it is aluminum, paper, canvas, or an album) is a must-have in every collection to commemorate your wedding day. When I first started doing weddings, it was standard to offer a CD with your digital photos. Soon after we had to move to DVDs to accommodate the file sizes. After that came USB thumb drives as DVDs died out. USB drives are now already showing signs of obsolescence as computer manufacturers are switching to a new standard and fewer families have large desktop computers at home anymore.

I have to wonder what the options will be in 20 years when we'd like to show our kids our wedding photos? Will it be on a large, professionally colour-calibrated display to see the digital images at their best? Or will it be a tangible heirloom such as a large print on your wall and a felt-lined box full of smaller prints so you don't miss a thing, or a professionally designed wedding album telling the story of your day?
